Home Educators of Rainbow Forest (HERF) is a non-profit support group under Rainbow Forest Baptist Church in Troutville, Virginia (near Roanoke). The group seeks to encourage and support other home education families through Christian fellowship, prayer, and activities for socialization.
Looking for an Academic Co-op?
SALT Co-op was established by a group of Christian families desiring to share their expertise and knowledge in a Christ-centered environment to enhance the home education of their children. This collaboration allows for a balance between homeschooling and a traditional classroom, and gives each family the opportunity to serve, encourage, and support one another.
SALT, a ministry of Rainbow Forest Baptist Church and Home Educators of Rainbow Forest (HERF), supports homeschooling families in and around the Roanoke Valley.
